Monotheistic theology presents Heaven as the throne of God and the Earth as God’s footstool (See: Isaiah 66:1, Revelation, Ch. 4, Verse of the Throne). The second day of the Genesis story canonizes the separateness of the “spheres above”, which connect us to infinity, from the “spheres below”, which host us until we return to the source of Being. Mainstream culture has absorbed this narrative deeply. Even today, it remains largely insulated from challenges and alternatives. In this trialogue, Rupert Sheldrake, Ralph Abraham and Terence McKenna offer a radical reconceptualization of humanity’s connection to infinity. Shabbat Shalom!
