The Value of Information

We value information now more than ever, but our culture and capital markets alike show little interest in static, non-digital information furnished by the fallen giants of the news business. The first infographic below ranks traditional (red) and emerging (blue) media brands on two financial measures: 1) trailing 12 months sales as of 12/31/2013, and 2) Price/Sales (TTM). The second infographic ranks the media brands based on market cap.
