Stop Voting! Boycott the Electoral Process

Following my latest post on this subject, here are some further reflections on the futility of rational argument and business-as-usual politics as an antidote to systemic corruption.

George Carlin, a comedic genius and still a very relevant political thinker, summed up the argument in favor of election boycotts.

Contrast Carlin’s clear-eyed perspective with this fluffy feel-good propaganda from Hollywood celebrities.

Today, we need more thinkers like Carlin, and we shouldn’t take seriously naïve arguments about voting as a civic duty. A vote for any candidate under the current electoral system constitutes an endorsement of a corrupt duopoly largely responsible for the most alarming threats to our civilization.
